Cool Vacation presents:

Radare /// Wiesbaden /// Ambient/Doom

Often compared to bands like Neurosis, Earth or Bohren und der Club of Gore, Radare already proved with their debut "Infinite Regress" that there is no need for an attach. After releasing their second full length "Hyrule" followed by several shows across europe in 2011, it felt surprisingly quiet around the fourpiece during recent years. With new material in the works, they are now back on stage for a journey across eastern Europe wich also leads them to Dresden.
For the most part instrumental, their songs are calm at first sight, but a lot more moving and unbelievable thrilling on second. There seems some kind of visibility to it: Lot´s of pictures are merging to an exiting movie and besides the claim of dark atmosphere… there is… a story.

Watered /// Karlsruhe /// Postrock/Metal/Ambient

Not just another Postrock fourpiece, much more a band who keeps pushing the limits of genres to the edge: Watered surprised with lot´s of influences on their last full length "For Those Who Will Never Exist" and created a sound reminding of a mixture between Explosions in the Sky, old Scraps of Tape and even Maserati. Let´s see if they will go another step further with their new record "Some Are Born Into The Endless Night".
"Through melancholic passages Watered travel with various styles in their songs pushing you to be quiet and to listen carefully. From very heavy parts to delicate and ambient moments [Â…] they keep your head in tension [Â…]."

live aftershow:

Hildegard von Binge Drinking /// Würzburg /// Wave/Synth

Somehow dark, somehow atmospheric. Ok. So far so good. You think this description already failed? Maybe you´re right, because these two guys on catchy drums and floating synthesizers won´t hesitate to use vocoders, arpeggiators, sequencers and hard hitting beats to bring it to the dancefloor. If you take a closer look, you´ll recognize members of Shokei and The Falcon Five.
Don´t miss this mess!
