It has been a great summer for hardcore in NYC. The shows at CBGB's alone were some of the best shows in over 10 years. There are a lot really big bands now that are playing really big shows. What hardcore needs now is more smaller shows again. Support the new and also the smaller local bands. Go to as many shows as you can. Spread flyers and also post bulletins and blogs on the internet. Rent a place and set up a show. Most importantly, go to as many shows as you can. You'll save money too because the smaller ones are cheaper. Get all your friends to come with you. and find young kids and turn them onto real hardcore and get them going to shows. We can make the scene as great as it was 10 years ago but the key is the small shows. And also, we gotta stop fighting eachother. Fighting ruins scenes. PERIOD! It doesn't matter what you are, a vegan, SXE, skin, punk, toughguy or what crew you are with because at the end of the day, we are all part of the same hardcore family that shares one united blood.

Now, to help hardcore grow, copy and paste this entire bulletin and add as many local bands and the regions they are from and help support their music. Find more good bands to add to this list and make this a good directory for hardcore in each area of the whole entire planet. Also, list promoters that books shows, Zines, radio stations that play hardcore and small record labels. Keep this list going and then go to all the shows of the bands in your area. Travel for shows too. You will never understand what hardcore is about until you start driving hours and hours and hours on a regular basis just to see the same bands that you have seen 8 zillions times in the last year over and over again and seeing all the same people.
