DARKEST HOUR cancel rest of their European tour
Darkest Hours guitarist Mike Schleibaums father has cancer and will be dying anytime soon. Mike is already on its way back to Washington DC.
Here is the bands official statement:
»Darkest Hour is sad to announce that we have to cancel the rest of our European tour, plus the two weeks with The Crown in November. Mike's father has been battling cancer for about two years, and Mike has been called home by his family to spend his last days with him. We were looking forward to seeing our friends in Sweden, the UK, and especially Anchorfest. We regret to cancel, but we are planning on coming back for a full European tour in February/March 2004, and we plan to make up all of the dates we will miss. We would like to thanks Marco and Ivonne at Join The Team Player Rec./Avocado Booking for all of their love and support, as our booking agents and friends. We would also like to thank Martin, our driver, for all of his patience.
We send our apologizes to all of the bands, fans, and promoters of this tour, and thank you for your understanding and respect during this difficult time.«
Is zwar sehr schade wegen der Tour, kann ich aber verstehen...auf ein neues nächstes Jahr....
